    1. The Infantry, because I hope to develop FPS (First Person Shooter) when I become a Video Game developer and I hope to learn more about the Army.
    2. The Simulation Developer looks the most interesting, because it relates most to my job as a Video Game Developer.
    3. The overrated job I choose was the Chef; the downside of the job is that you do a lot for little. The worst part of the job is that you serve people instead of people serving you.

    1. Robert Aguilar – Automotive Painter because there is no education needed only a high school diploma.

    2. Immigration Specialist – because 10.3 million immigrants have come to United States uninvited.

    3. Architect – because architects earn a lot of money and they get to build cool new buildings.

    1. Herculano’s was the best because you can make a lot of money as an Investment Banker.

    2. Immigration Specialist is going to be a great job because since 2000 we’ve had over 10 million people immigrate to the U.S.

    3. The chef job is not a very good job because most chefs work on assembly lines making the same thing day in and day out. They also work real late while everybody else is at home enjoying themselves.

    1) I liked the brochure about video game developer because I enjoy playing games and would like to know how they’re made. Plus, for every game they make, they get a free copy.
    2) I like the police officer because you get to save people in your city or town. I also like that you get to carry a gun every where you go. You get to drive around all day.
    3) I like the police officer but 1 bad thing about is that they work under stressful and dangerous pressure. They also do a lot of paper work. When you’re a police men some people start not to like you just because you lock up some body.

    2) The computational biologist is interesting to me. It is interesting to me, because there are lots of new discoveries in this field, it is easy to get a job in this field, and there is lot of money in this field.
    3) I chose small business owner and one of the downsides is that you have to be skilled at a lot of different jobs. The worst part about this job is how much you have to work for your small business.

    1. Absent.

    2. I think the most cutting edge jobs would be a Green-Collar Consultant because you try to help save the planet and stop global warming. You can also help the ecosystems.

    3. I think the most overrated job would be a physician because you have to go through so much training and school you have so much stress. Then you also have tell some of you’re patients the bad news or people who dies.

    1. My favorite brochure is the “Kindergarten Teacher” brochure. The reason that this one is my favorite is because it gives me a lot of good information about a kindergarten teacher.
    2. The immigration specialist is the most interesting to me, because it’s amazing how many immigrants were able to come to America.

1.) My favorite brochure was “Zookeeper”, by Elizabeth Havner. Her brochure was very straight to the point. It had very informational facts too. Her brochure taught me that zookeepers will be needed more, because animals will become more endangered and zoos will be one of their choices to put those animals in zoos. I also learned that to be a zookeeper they require you to get a Bachelor’s Degree in zoology and biology. I probably choose this brochure as my favorite, because it deals with animals and ever since I was little I wanted to become a zoologist or a vet for large animals. So this brochure had many characteristics close to those careers.
    2) I was mostly interested in Stimulation Developer, because there are many different types of stimulation developers. They are involved in many different categories like, entertainment, to predicting the future, and etc. Scientists use them to predict how a synthesized molecule will work. Surgeons use them to learn a new technique without endangering patients. Corporations and, to a lesser extent, schools are moving from the instructor who attempts to keep people awake by telling anecdotes and jokes to immersive simulations of critical real-world situations. So that might be something to look foward to inthe future.
    3) Police Officer interested me in, “overrated Jobs”….because I always thought that being a cop would be a kick a** job. Like it would be like on one of those spy movies. But it turns out being a cop is really dangerous and stressful. Also those spy movies aren’t reality. It’s really hard to control the crime, and trying to have high authority. Cops also have to do a lot of paperwork its not all fun and games. It’s a very difficult career to do.

    1) My favorite brochure was “Wedding Planner”, by Niki Helton because it had very good details about that career. In my opinion, she did a great job on the brochure. It had a lot of pictures and she explained every section there was. Even though not everything made sense, I still got what it was talking about.
    2) I though the “Immigration Specialist” cutting- edge profession was interesting because it informs the reader about the immigration population and it tells us why we need Immigration Specialist.
    3) I chose Police Officer from the “Most Overrated” portion of the article because they are there to uphold the law and safeguard innocent citizens. The worst part about the job is that their work is stressful and dangerous.

1.The best brochure was the automotive painter, because I think it had the most information that you would need.
2.Behavioral Geneticist is going to be a good job because for over 100 years they been helping people with there feelings.
3.I think being a teacher is a bad job because you don’t get paid good, the bad things are taking care of kids and when they start crying and you still have to work in the summer sometimes.

    2) I would like to be a simulating developer because I would like to develop some sort of training.

    3) The worst part about owning your own business is what if you never get it to start off. Or if it never gets big and you’re just losing money

    2) Chef is the most interesting because you get to make food for people. You get to own your own restaurant.

2)I like data miner because they make a new magic pill that’s suppose to make your business more successful
    3) The worst part of being a chef is that you have to make the same things over and over each night and work really late, especially on weekends.

  16. Jonathan A. Says:

    1. I think the best brochure to me was the infantry to me because I love the armed forces and when I graduate I plan to be either Be a pilot or be in the military.
    2. I picked the emergency planning manger because I am good under pressure and like making decisions but with this job my decision will determine the lives of families.
    3. I think the attorney because I never thought that it would be on that list but I think the only downfall to that job would have to deal with other people’s dumb excuse to sue some one just to get money

  17. #1 In my opinion the brochure about Industrial Engineers was the best. Right off the bat it grabbed my attention and made me reach for it. I opened it up and all the information was well organized and well put together; I kept reading and it took my attention and held on! When I finished reading it had a lot more understanding about Industrial engineers than I had before.

#2 looked at “Data Miner” I picked it because of its title. I thought that it would have something to do with digging up old information, in a way it does. A Data Miner’s job is to use statistic to predict a customers behavior. I personally think this would be a fun job because you get to look up a bunch of statistics and then use them to come up with a new one that will predict the customer’s behavior. You would always be getting to predict new stuff cause you generally would have to do the same one over again for a long time.

#3 I think the worst part about being a data miner would be the fact that you have to be right about your prediction or else you might get fired for being wrong so much. For example you predict that people will love yak butter so your company invests in yak butter stocks; but down the road yak butter causes cancer so everybody hates and you lose your job. That is what I think would be the worst downside to being a data miner.

    2) I like the Immigration Specialist it interest me because I think the migration today is to much and we the united states are getting to crowded this is why this interests me.
    3) The most overrated career is being a police officer because the officers risk there lives every day.

    1) absent
    2) Emergency Planning Manager. Since 9/11 the need for EMPs haves grown because ever major town has created a safety or evacuation plan in case of an natural disaster of other catastrophe. So a whole town would depend on me that what make it interesting.

    3) Non-profit manager: people want to make difference. The reality is jobs like this but they don’t make much so sometimes they need some help themselves in need of help.
